JUMPING ROPE OLD AND NEW(Late October/Early November)
Below you will see photos of the children jumping rope and then using the rope for new games they created in small group. You will see pictures of them huddling to discuss their ideas and then drawings of the results. Some of the games were a success and some were not so fun or even possible. The game that was created that was the most challenging was one where Jessie and I hold the long rope and try to lift a child who is hanging on in the middle. It was VERY difficult. (see below)

KL has learned about the community helpers and the roles that they play in our city. We matched tools with helpers and explored how and where they work. As a culminating assessment, we will identify who we want to be with we are working adults and give reasons why that role is helpful to our community.
